Brittany Schreiber

Together, we work toward growth that is both practical and deeply transformative.

Hi there! I’m Brittany Schreiber, a School Psychologist, doctoral candidate, and yoga teacher passionate about integrating psychology, movement, and spirituality to support healing, growth, and overall well-being. My background includes being a third-year PsyD student in School-Community Psychology at Hofstra University, earning a Master of Science in Education in School Psychology from Long Island University, Brooklyn, and completing undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Management at Hofstra University.

I am a New York State Certified School Psychologist and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). My professional experiences span public schools, psychological clinics, and wellness spaces, allowing me to support individuals through both psychological and holistic approaches to care.

I most enjoy working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating challenges related to anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, learning differences, self-esteem, stress, and life transitions. I also have a growing passion for neuropsychological assessment, mindfulness-based interventions, working with families impacted by substance use disorders, positive psychology, and integrating spirituality into healing and personal growth.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I believe healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and empowered to reconnect with themselves, others, and something greater than themselves. Whether through counseling, assessment, yoga, or mindfulness practices, my goal is to create spaces where individuals feel safe to grow emotionally, spiritually, and personally.

A Few Things About Me

Born and raised on Long Island, I care deeply about serving the local community and creating meaningful spaces for healing and connection.

I currently work as a school psychologist within a primary and elementary school setting, where I support students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic development.

Outside of my clinical work, I love rock climbing, traveling, yoga, and spending time in nature. I value practices that encourage mindfulness, meaning, connection, and personal growth, and I strive to bring those values into the work I do with others.

I believe every person has inherent strengths, purpose, and the capacity for growth. My approach blends evidence-based psychology with the ancient wisdom of mindfulness, compassion, and creativity to support the whole person — mind, body, and spirit.

I strive to create warm, supportive, and healing-centered spaces where individuals feel safe to fully be themselves. Whether I am working with children, adolescents, adults, or families, my goal is to help clients build resilience, deepen self-awareness, strengthen emotional well-being, and reconnect with what matters most to them.

I believe healing is not only about reducing symptoms, but also about cultivating meaning, connection, peace, and a life aligned with one’s values and purpose.
